Money Inc. and Essence Magazine collaborated in efforts to create a list of colleges and universities they think “offer the best value for African-American students.” They listed the top 50 out of 1,500 four-year colleges using the following criteria: Graduation rates, Affordability, Earnings potential, and African American Representation.
The top 10 include the top Ivy League schools such as Harvard, Princeton, and Yale however also includes three HBCU’s of Florida A&M University, Spelman College, and North Carolina A&T State University.
